Sept, 06: Sunday Depart USA
Let the adventure begin when you board your overnight flight to London.


Sept, 07: Monday London
Arrive in London and connect with your overnight flight to Nairobi. 


Sept 08 /09:Tue/Wed Mt Kenya
Jambo! Welcome to Africa. Arrive in Nairobi where you will be met by a Somak representative. After a quick stop at the Somak Lounge to freshen up, drive north through rich farming countryside to the Mount Kenya Region. Arrive in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp set in the heart of a large privately owned game reserve, followed by an afternoon game drive. The Sweetwaters is also home to the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Next day, morning and afternoon game drives in this beautiful game reserve. (BLD) Sweetwaters Tented Camp
 


Sept 10/11/12:Thu-Sat Samburu
Continue with your safari adventure as you drive north into Samburu, with a stop at the famous signpost at the Equator to take memorable photographs as you cross from the Southern into the Northern Hemisphere. Today enjoy an afternoon game drive. For next 2 days, explore the beauty and ruggedness of this game park with morning and afternoon game drives. A visit to a Samburu village and an evening bush dinner are also featured in our safari. (BLD) Ashnil Samburu Tented Camp


Sept 13: Sun Mt. Kenya
Final game drive in the park as we travel south toward the slopes of Mount Kenya. Accommodation for tonight is at the world famous Mount Kenya Safari Club, formerly owned by the actor William Holden. Located on the Equator, the resort has extensive lush green grounds with opportunity to photograph a variety of bird life and the peaks of Mt. Kenya. (BLD) Mt. Kenya Safari Club
 


Sept 14/15: Mon/Tue Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, drive across the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive along the lakeshore. Next day, morning and afternoon game drives in the park. (BLD) Lake Nakuru Lodge
 


Sept 16/17: Wed/Thu Masai Mara
After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Continue to the lodge for lunch. Later this afternoon enjoy your first game drive in the Masai Mara. Next day enjoy an early morning game drive. Return to the lodge where you have the remainder of the morning at leisure before lunch and late afternoon game drive. (BLD) Keekorok Lodge
 


Sept 18/19/20: Fri/Sat/Sun Masai Mara
Morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast drive to newly built luxury tented camp in the famous Masai Mara National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at the Ashnil Mara Camp followed by an afternoon game drive. Next day early morning game drive is followed by breakfast at the hippo pool. With morning and afternoon game drives, we will have opportunity to witness the migration at its peak. (BLD) Ashnil Mara Tented Camp
 


Sept 21: Mon Nairobi
Morning game drive followed by breakfast. After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi where a Somak Safaris Tour Director will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Afternoon to relax or do some last minute shopping. Dinner is at the Hotel. Later transfer to the airport for your Kenya Airways flight 102 to London. (BLD)

Sept 22: Tue Arrive London/ USA
Arrive London in the morning and connect with your flight home to share pleasant memories of your trip to Kenya with family and friends.
