London
Arrive at London Heathrow Terminal 3 and connect with your
non stop overnight flight to Nairobi, Kenya.
Jan 31/Feb 01: Mon/Tue. Lake Nakuru
Jambo! Welcome to Africa. Arrive in Nairobi where a Somak director will meet
you. Drive through the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru
National Park, once described by ornithologist Roger Tory-Peterson, as ‘the
most fabulous bird spectacle in the world". Afternoon game viewing
drive along the lakeshore. Next day’s activities include 2 game drives.

Feb 02/03/04:
Wed/Thu/Fri. Masai Mara
Drive to the Kenya’s most famous National park, the Masai Mara. We are
going to the Mara to photograph the big cats, lions, leopards and cheetahs
along with many other animals that live in the Mara year round. Lunch
at the camp. Later this afternoon enjoy your first
game drive in the Masai Mara. Next two days, morning and afternoon game
drives are planned to explore and photograph the abundant wildlife. (BLD)

February 05: Saturday Nairobi/Arusha
Morning game drive followed by a bush breakfast. Fly to Nairobi and connect
with your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival you will be met by a Somak Safari’s
Tour Director who will transfer you to your hotel for an overnight. (BLD)
Mountain Village
February 06-09: Sun – Wed. Serengeti Plains
Today’s journey passes through the scenic areas of the eastern Serengeti
plains. The Ndutu Lodge, strategically located in the area, which is alive
with the migration. This time of the year is the birthing season when many
babies are born. Four days are earmarked to witness nature’s greatest
spectacle, the migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle
and all of the predators. Daily morning and late afternoon game
drives are planned for many outstanding photographic opportunities.

February 10/11: Thu/Fri.
Ngorongoro Crater
Depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area; host to the ‘birthplace of man’.
It is also home to the unique intact caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. The
crater is home to abundant game, including the “big five” – elephant, rhino,
lion, leopard and buffalo. Enjoy a picnic lunch as you descend to the crater
floor. Next morning, another game drive in the crater. Later in the afternoon, we
will visit a nearby Masai village. (BLD) Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
February 12: Sat.
Arusha/Nairobi
This morning drive to Arusha and lunch at the Arumeru River Lodge. Later
connect with your flight to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi and connect your
